I just use my drivers? Can't recall when last I needed my license. (I've sent a couple of copies off - but - I have those saved)

MTN for example want BOTH ID and license.

When I get new contracts at Telkom Store it's useful. I read about it on MyBB, I go to store, walk out with the special. No need to stop at home first, once I stop there I want to stay there lol.

The home affairs department isn't run by the bank. The bank is merely the outlet.

You have to pay before you make your appointment at the bank. You can't pay with your ABSA internet banking to book at FNB The Grove.

And I think someone said you have to pay with your own account. Someone with a FNB account cant pay on your behalf, it needs to be YOUR FNB account.

I bank with FNB. I got my ID card at Standard Bank.

Well, others have reported they have been unable to do that.

I've just applied via their eHome site.
I paid with FNB online banking.

When I use the 'Make a booking" tab, the only only choice I have is Gauteng, and the FNB branches there.

I'd like to choose the Standard bank in Canal Walk, but that is not an option.

So looks like I'm going to have to go to Home affairs...

Nope, want one but haven't gotten around to it yet. My bank doesn't do it so will have to go old school which is a potencial shlep of note.

yes from Home Affairs and it was very quick
