Have one, its been in the storeroom collecting dust.

Smart TV has YouTube, Netflix, and Plex and a few other apps. therefore hasn't used it in awhile

I have one, bought it a couple of years back because I've always thought this is a better alternative to smart TV.

This was confirmed with my recent purchase of a smart TV which has proved to be unjustifiably laggy and slow with limited apps.

A streaming device is a much better alternative than a smart TV; the devices are really affordable especially if you important through GearBest/ Wish/ Amazon; there's the farmilia Android interface and they are likely to be upgradeable (if not cheap enough to be disposable).

Chromecast is just as good.
