Very difficult with a ton of blind shots. Take lots of balls. Golf balls tooWhat happened? Was recommended to try my first golf day there
A mate of mine would always make me chug a beer on the first tee irrespective of the time of day, must admit, it settles the nerves and helps you to loosen up.Yes, can compete no mater how young or old and almost any skill levels can compete against each other plus you can drink whats not to like ?
Moer en soek...
I also wonderedWhat is other in this context? You either do or don't
No in my case unless you count the occasional putt-putt aka miniature golf.
New wat. When I last played it was a pw, 9i and putter.Get a Pitching wedge, 56 degree, and a putter and you're good for a Mashie course.
If there are bunkers, you’ll need a Sand wedge or 56 to 60 wedge.New wat. When I last played it was a pw, 9i and putter.
In fact I take only a 9 iron to a Mashie. It is good to play an ordinary chip from bunkers and play any distance (for me) up to 120m. The only time I would take wedges is when there is water where more precise carry and stopping distances come into play. Our local mashie is however a orgy as golf rules and etiquette are waived in favour of 'family fun', so I've not been on a Mashie in ages.If there are bunkers, you’ll need a Sand wedge or 56 to 60 wedge.
A PW you can hit 120 meters easily.
The 9 iron only gets you an extra 10 meters.
Do you just open the face of the 9iron and whack when you are in a bunker? In fact I take only a 9 iron to a Mashie.
