Do you sauna ?

Until recently I forgot how nice a sauna was after a good workout at gym.

Anyone else sauna regularly?

If so you prefer sauna or steam room?
 
Sometimes
and the sauna.. the steam room can be a bit dodgey at my VA

The sauna is nice after a long swim
 
I've been one of those once......I can't bladdy well breath in those things!
 
i love sauna, but at VA it bothers me.

I dont see the reason why guys have to sit completely naked with their legs spread....i dont wanna sit where ur ball sweat is...

Our VA requires towels to be at hand at all times.
Especially while in the sauna or steam room.
 
I use the steam room after gym, and always with a towel around my waist....

I prefer the wet heat of the steam room as I feel the dry heat of the sauna really drys my skin out too much

That's what moisturizers are for :D

PS - I always use a towel and guys that don't are not cool!

Steam room. With a towel/swimming trunks. Some people can be quite gross in there.

yeah, and this grates me, its usually the same guys who dont use sweat towels during their sessions and leave their weights lying around

Why do you look? Why does it worry you how people sauna? Why are you sitting so close to naked men. Being able to see where they sweat in a sauna room? :eek:. I think if you were in the sauna i would leave because that is just way too close for comfort :D.

I never knew sitting on your towel relaxing was against rules though? No towel is obviously rubbish though.

the sauna is usually pretty busy, and some of the guys dont sit normally, they kind of sit with their back in the corner and have like a leg on the step below and the other on the step above.

I hardly want to have to sit remotely close to these guys with them sitting spread eagled..
I dont think its a huge ask for them to wear shorts or a towel..
 
Used to, stopped now that I gym at point VA...problem there isn't the fact that towels aren't worn but the fact that captains poses are standard pose throughout changingroom.... wouldnt dare venture into sauna there...
 
I used to love a sauna after gym....especially when you take your towel & fan the coals after dropping Eucalyptus oil on the rocks. The guys in the sauna were a bit intense with the fanning of the coals, so much so that you could feel the insides of your nostrils catching fire. It was frikkin' awesome. :D

To be honest, we'd all sit on our towels completely naked.

and why should I WEAR a towel, as long as I sit on it the rest can go to hell...some people can be such whiners
