Yeah, they accept only cash. I am sure tax dodging is involved although to be fair, I can't be certain.

Well it’s the only way the statement makes sense because there is no logical reason you’ll be building more wealth only accepting cash.

Quite the contrary because now you cut out the massive demographic living on their credit cards.

Some shops like Kara Nicha's are offline intentionally. That is how many built their wealth.

Bruh, I've paid with card at Kara Nicha's just a few days ago. These days the payment networks flop over left, right and center due to all the load shedding.

Or not just not have any business…
I think it was more of a kid needed to do some last minute Christmas shopping so... cash.

No shop in the history of shops is going to be intentionally offline on the day before Christmas.

That gas shop in Cape road near Big 5 has a sign that says cash only..

Where?

I'm surprised a petrol station would only accept cash. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Cash is fungible i.e. every unit is like every other unit (*)

The corrupt hate it for that reason. Cos they can't protect themselves from open competition, if there is that kind of privacy afforded to payments.

Card payments are not fungible. They are the exact opposite i.e. there is zero privacy to transactions, because money service providers are dependent on the State for their operation.

This has been referred to as the 'unholy alliance' i.e. between Money and State. We broke the unholy alliance between Church and State, by opening religion up to competition. We should do the same to the union between Money and State. Break them up.

Your every move and preference can be tracked with electronic fiat currency, by those who don't need your approval to operate in the market.

* Only applies to money, not fiat currency.

Always keep couple of $100 notes in wallet .. alway last resort backup when travelling anywhere. Remember as a student paying tolls with coins when not in a hurry... fun for those behind you...

That’s a mistake right there.

The more money you have on you the bigger the expected bribe is.

The key is having nothing more than 2 x R20.
