I now put the catchphrase "The price is a notification and not a negotiation." under the ad.

Sold quite a few items on FBM without issues. But, I did research their profiles first

Also, found a company in my neighbourhood to re-upholster some cushions. They did a good job.

Bought a few things from FB marketplace. But I do scan the profile first, and make sure its local so I can pick up and make sure its ganse van my dam. Scanning profile thoroughly for a safe deal is more important than low price.

Also sold a few things over the years. But advertise it on a group specifically for related item.
I sold my car there recently but went a step further. I sold it on a specific group that only discuss that car model and then did not make a for sale add on that group as the for sale add might appear on general marketplace feeds. So I only made a normal post on the group to say its up for sale.
