I spend 3 months trying to sell something with around 40 people asking me if the item is still available. What do you think Sherlock? The ad is still up... Never mind the fact that after you say yes and give your address / cell nr you don't hear from them anyway.

Is it still available?

I cannot understand why people get annoyed at that question.

I've queried things then the fkn twat says whoops, sorry, forgot to take down the ad.

That still available thing I dont understand .... Sometimes I ask something else and the reply will be yes its available .... then Im like WTF, thats NOT what I asked ... so I think marketplace is sometimes auto adding sh|t

At least 70% of our country is uneducated. Keep that in mind. That is 90% of social media.

Bought a few things from FB marketplace. But I do scan the profile first, and make sure its local so I can pick up and make sure its ganse van my dam. Scanning profile thoroughly for a safe deal is more important than low price.

Also sold a few things over the years. But advertise it on a group specifically for related item.
I sold my car there recently but went a step further. I sold it on a specific group that only discuss that car model and then did not make a for sale add on that group as the for sale add might appear on general marketplace feeds. So I only made a normal post on the group to say its up for sale.
