I use it, but not to it's fullest potential it seems.
Have notifications for jobs that interest me so I check those out often.
Also keep in touch with ex colleagues through LinkdIn.

Haven't found it useful much but I'm not the social media type. Sometimes their approach is also too pushy.

I use the export to PDF of my Profile function as my official CV, no recruiter or interviewer ever had an issue with it. I keep my profile up to date and continually update it with new big projects or achievements.

I have been once recruited via a LinkedIn connection, and recently had an interview via a recruiter on LinkedIn.

It helps staying in touch with ex colleagues, instead of sharing email addresses.

I used it as a public cv, keeping in touch with old coworkers and checking what skills are relevant. It is a waste of time, if you got a job already. I find myself scrolling unconsciously, so I'm limiting how long I spend on it.

No. Thought it died a slow death since "no one uses it anymore".
Surprised to see all the above replies.

I clicked on "other". I have a LinkedIn account but have not logged on in around 5 years. I wasn't sure how to answer the question. It's like having a working mercedes in the garage, parked for 5 years and never driven during that time...when you're asked if you drive a Merc.

LinkedIn keeps me up to date with some current events but carries my profile which is important. The profile allows me to verify my Name etc. I also have an article on linked regarding energy and follow energy experts such as myself. All this besides communication makes it a great package to belong to if you have the qualifications.
