DoBroadband, explain?

please could someone clear this up for me
which modem of the 2 (WiFi/USB) would be the better choice on dobroadband?
I didnt even get asked which one i wanted when i signed up yesterday, hopefully i still do get a choice.
Im planning on using it with 2 computers running XP, with 3gig telkominternet and 10gig IS, with route sentry on both, that possible and if yes which modem would be easier?
can u do the self-installation on a different phone jack (in ure house) in the furture?
when do they activate it at the exchange?

Because you have 2 PC's you will need the WiFi router.

AFAIK you will be able to use route sentry.

Yes. You just have to unplug the filter from the jack where you plug your router in.

when do they activate it at the exchange?

Random amount of time (can be a few weeks). They'll let you know when it's done.

i got my modem straight away - but i've been waiting weeks for them to set it up. been phoning daily with no luck.

I was planning of moving a phone jack for the adsl, but now rather think I should just use a long phone cable, would the length of the cable affect my adsl in any way? Thanks
