DoC responds to SABC CEO resignation

Dear Roy

Given your statement 'The importance of a stable Public Broadcaster that functions optimally to meet its mandate cannot be overemphasized.', can you please explain to us why the DoC repeatedly appoints these useless political appointees? This one was an obvious bad apple as early as 2006 yet he was allowed to continue to function.

As a member of the public I have to say that your sugar-coated words directly contradict the actions of the department.

You know what, at some point in the not too distant future the gravy train is going to run out of gravy. Sometimes it seems that some of these clowns are so hell bent on bankrupting this country that they forget that all good things MUST come to an end.

Hope I'm dead and gone by then. SABC is a joke, makes no difference who pretends to run it.
