NZB fans will know there's a lot of stuff out there in the documentary section - some that never make it onto the local tv options.

I'm partial to travel shows, war, history and 'uncovering a mystery' stuff.

If you come across something special I'm all ears.

Currently watching The Dales with Ade Edmondson ( Young Ones, Bottom ) and husband to Jennifer Saunders.

Only available in SD but stunning scenery without a skyscraper in sight. Episodes are only 22 minutes long.

I have just finished Billy Connolly on Route 66 - on a Harley which he manages to crash.

Three other presenters to to look out for are

Michael Palin - who travels just about everywhere

Francesco da Mosto - Venice and everything Italian

Tony Robinson aka Baldrick, has a great series on Australia and another on Crime and Punishment.

On the war side, some gems are

Apocalypse - The Second World War

History Channel - Nazi Hunters

Any must-watch documentaries out there ?

History Channel - History's Raiders (26 episodes)

PS. there is a looong thread started by copa hiding away somewhere :D

I need to update my thread.

On a related note - I've found two, erm, collections of docs, totaling 170 gigs. That should keep me going a while. :D
