Does a 3GB cap make you anxious?

Another simple and yet again unofficial poll I thought up all by myself.

A very simple question. Does a 3GB cap worry you? In other words do you concentrate on limiting your internet activities to stay below it?

I know there are people with larger accounts (myself inclded) but that should make the question easier to answer.

Does a 3GB cap limit your Internet experience in any way? Does it at a little bit if anxiety to a service that is not suppose to frustrate you in any way?

EXTREMELY!!! I have done no big downloads this month and I am over 3GB. It is only the 8th. I am gonna cane it though to get the most out of my 30GB. Nov is looking very sad indeed.

No idea! Still waiting for teklom for my normal telephone line, thus can't speak about ADSL yet! Have no idea about the amount of bandwidth I use here at work or using the telephone at my old place! (In short, I'm the one who voted "Not sure yet..." )

Yes, it does. My family uses the Telkom 3GB account, paid for by my father's work. (Therefore it is rather difficult to convince them to switch to a 30GB cap).

Thing is, the cap doesn't bother him much - he's of an older generation that only want to do Internet banking, play stocks over the Internet, email and do occasional browsing.

Myself and my brother, however, are young and Internet-savy. We passed our 3GB cap ONCE, and my father completely freaked out (since he couldn't trade stocks). He's under the impression that 3GB is enough for anyone - and we're not.

Now it is a fine balance to ensure we BOTH get what we want, without reaching that @#$%(*@&# cap and thereby limiting HIS internet experience.

I manage downloads very carefully and only really feel comfortable around 25th of month!

a 3gb cap comes into effect and I'm screwed. I WAS connected to the internet but with 3gb and a hard cap it's back to:

1) no series like lost, survivor, invasion, bleach, naruto
2) no online broadcasts like shockwave TV and nasa online

Hell, I'll probably be too nervous to use my google earth.

A case in point.
Just after I voted, my wife came to me and apologized profusely that she had left her PC on all night, with the Browser open.

I told her it didn't matter because we aren't on dialup, but it raises the point that what the rest of the world now takes for granted we South Africans are too paranoid to use.

Telkom has brainwashed every one in to thinking that the Internet is an expensive privilege rather than a basic human right.
