Does Afrihost support no longer function?

Thank you for the info. I will give this a go if I am not successful. [email protected] also asked us to revert back to them if we do not get an appropriate response. I just want to try and follow the correct process by giving Afrihost a chance to correct this on their side.
Oh.

.co.za yea that's easy just mail the registry directly, they have a department by now dedicated to Afrihost misconduct

They have until the end of this month with me to get their act together or I am invoking the 60-day double-your-money-back guarantee.

This is incorrect. You charged us for a domain that was transferred to someone else, despite the fact that you have the new owner's banking details. You also charged us for a domain which we cancelled.

Regarding the domains we transferred, one succeeded and one is in a state of limbo because we could not approve the transfer. As mentioned Afrihost registered this domain with the wrong email address.

All I need is this:
Please refund the credits to the relevant bank account and ensure that no further debit orders are submitted.
Please submit a request to the ZA Central Registry so that the correct registrant email gets linked to the remaining domain.
Please do not bill us for the renewal of the remaining domain we will transfer. We will renew with the new Service Provider.
Please ask support to not ignore our requests for extended periods.

The sooner we get this done the sooner we can be done with each other.

I will follow-up with the Transfers and Accounts Team tomorrow morning to get an update and find out how far along the process is.

Thanks. Don’t waste time on chasing the transfer. This has been cancelled by the new Service Provider as per the request from your support team. Afrihost just need to submit the registrant email change and keep us in the loop. Once this is done we can submit a new transfer request. It literally takes a couple of minutes to get the email approval request for the domain transfer from co.za.

I do think it is valuable that AfriGenie still follows up with the Team as we need to know what is going wrong or what is happening that is hindering the process here. As soon as he some feedback for you I am sure he'll get back to you. :)

The EPP Whois details update has been queued, and is being processed.

AfriPeople you guys better give Tristan.c a bonus or something because he is the only Sales person there that gets ANYTHING going when I ask. Cannot say the same about the rest I have been dealing with.

We have just received an email for a "Contact Change Notification" from [email protected]. They are going to update the wrong domains. These two domains now belong to their respective owners and the current contact details are correct on these two domains.
We have sent a reply on that email to [email protected] with the correct information. We have obtained the following reference number OSQ-669-72775.

I had to go vent my frustration outside before I could start writing this post. I do not understand why this is so difficult.
The freakin domain which needs to be updated with the correct registrantemail is the remaining domain which we want to transfer. Please do not go and stuff up my customer's domains! I promise you this, if you do this I will go through every single customer we referred to Afrihost and I will get them to move their services elsewhere. There are many. Please do not test me here.

I beg you, please help me to get this simple task done. I have wasted enough time with this.

Thank you for the feedback. We always try and give the best service we possibly can.

It is not good hear about the others that you have dealt with. :( If you run into any issues at all, feel free to drop me a pm. :)

I can see that one of our reps have already started the process with regards to this change for you today.

I am not sure if they have give you the reference number already. I am sure that you aware that this change does take 5 days to be completed because this is a co.za domain.

Feel free to check your whois details within 5 days to make sure that this change has been made.

I have received no reference number. The only thing I did receive was the email listing the change associated with the incorrect two domains. They need to leave those domains as is.
Only the one domain (as referenced in the support tickets) needs to be altered. I do not want to leave this for 5 days and then discover that they have messed up the domains which are correct while leaving the domain which requires the correction in the same state.

An easier approach would be for someone (knowledgable) to pick up the phone and contact us so that we can get some traction here.

I only queued the EPP update for the domain requested. :)

How can I see which domain this is and what has been requested? I need to ensure that you only make the registrantemail change on the one domain. All other domains need to remain unchanged. Can I check this on the Client Zone somewhere or can you please send us an email confirming the information?

I requested the updated for *******.co.za, that was the only domain admin email address that hadn't been updated to match the ClientZone details.

The Coza tracking number for the update is: CO.ZA-EPP-15F2A97EF8E-8EF95

Great this is the correct domain. I will keep an eye out for the ZA Registry notification.

Great! :)

If I can help with anything further, please let me know! :)

We have just received an email from Afrihost Support regarding SQY-812-74851. The person who sent the email is ******. The email states that they have updated the registrar details. The registrar is Afrihost. This makes no sense. The email also states that the change will take 5 days to complete. They are supposed to update the registrant details. Specifically the registrantemail address needs to be updated.

There is also no trace of any tickets regarding this issue on the client zone. It appears that all tickets were removed.

I am starting to understand what people mean when they say "A domain is being kept hostage."

What is going on here?

The tickets are definitely still there. :) As I mentioned previously, there are some Second-Level queues that have different permissions so that results in those tickets no longer being visible until our Team have replied to you.

I can confirm that it was the registrant details that were updated, the registrar details will only change if the domain has been migrated.

Are they planning to fix this or is it supposed to be like this for some reason?

Please help me understand something here:

Two days ago you gave me this reference number: CO.ZA-EPP-15F2A97EF8E-8EF95. You said you queued the update.

Today I receive the email associated with ref SQY-812-74851 stating that the registrar details were updated. You have now pointed out that the support agent meant registrant details.

What process are you guys following here? When exactly was what done and when will this process be complete? We have been battling since last week Friday non-stop to get this sorted out. Every day the so called 5 day period gets moved on. Today's email, (if they imply 5 working days) take us to next Friday. And so it continues.

How long do we have to carry on like this?
