Does Afrihost Uncapped stop you from using torrents?

Just a quick question, as I don't know how it works. All I know is I tried it and its permanently stuck on 0.1kbs/sec.

even during the evening? my torrents on mweb 4mb uncapped shaped service hit a maximum of 20kbps in the day but regularly exceed 150kbps at night..

No, not to the extent that you are experiencing. In the evening it downloads at between 25 - 38 kB/s using a 384kbps line.

Not sure about day time experience, but use Opera at night and provided there are enough seedants you should get decent enough speed on a 4Mbps line.

all depends how much u have used already I guess, if u have hit what they claim to be abuse usage then they clamp u down big time... could be that?

I'm on 384 uncapped. Current DL speed between 22 and 31.

I have barely used any gb at all this month. Maybe port forwarding would help??
