Been thinking

Is there a app that can stream directly from your PC, almost like showtime or vidi?
With maybe a server on the PC and a app on a phone?

But your able to control the playback of what's playing?

Seen a few plugins for vlc but nothing really like vidi or showmax,

Also one that support gingerbread android?
2,3,6?

No idea about Gingerbread support, but XBMC on the PC and Yatse on the phone does this for me.

Searched play store and found many plugins for vlc and a program called Airstream, with a server that i need to load and a app,

Will try xmbc as that I've heard of before.

You can also use ES file explorer.

Basically just a file explorer that can access network folders.

It also has built in functionality to play videos or use a different video app to stream, either way.
