I'm working on a website internal to my organisation. My IE 9 somehow updated itself to version 11, which is not compatible to the website I'm working on. I was hoping someone has the install file for IE 9 for me, please!

In IE 10/11, enable compatibility mode on the site, under gears Icon Menu. This will set to work in IE 9 mode.
Else goto Dev Mode (F12) and select previous version.
IE 9 may not be supported and far from secure enough to use

Thanks guys. IE 9 has disappeared from Microsoft and all other websites. IE 10 you can find but on install the message says "You already have the newest version installed". You cant uninstall IE 11 to fix the problem. I've googled myself stukkend!

Loads of links on Google promising you the install file but all of them refer you back to Microsoft who removed it.

Ha ha George Cloney nogal!

I did that already thanks Meneer but alas, no go. I could only get down to version 10.

After uninstalling ie11, do you not see ie10 as a removable update in programs and features?

Why don't you just update the website to suit browsers later than IE9? Maybe get those files from i.got.issues and try them - it's worth a shot. Not really sure what else to suggest.

Open the command prompt and type “wusa /uninstall /kb:2718695 /quiet /forcerestart"
type just 'wusa' to see the options
