Returns Policy
Hi Joe_M,
Nimz and I are the owners of Gadgets 2 Go. I assure you we aren't a fly-by-night operation - small maybe but we aren't going to disappear

We're basically operating from home, hence why there isn't a physical address listed on the site.
Regarding our warranty and returns policy, that is just a general policy - depending on your reasons for returning the product, your resolution would be as follows (extract from Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008):
Consumer’s right to return goods
20.
(...)
(2) Subject to subsections (3) to (6), the consumer may return goods to the supplier,
and receive a full refund of any consideration paid for those goods, if the supplier has
delivered—
(a) goods to the consumer in terms of an agreement arising out of direct
marketing, and the consumer has rescinded that agreement during the cooling off
period, in accordance with section 16;
(b) goods that the consumer did not have an opportunity to examine before
delivery, and the consumer has rejected delivery of those goods for any of the
reasons contemplated in section 19(5);
(c) a mixture of goods, and the consumer has refused delivery of any of those
goods, as contemplated in section 19(8); or
(d) goods intended to satisfy a particular purpose communicated to the supplier as
contemplated in section 55(3), and within 10 business days after delivery to
the consumer, the goods have been found to be unsuitable for that particular
purpose.
So in this case, subsection 2(a), 2(c) do not apply. Subsection 2(d) may or may not apply depending on whether you have specific requirements for the tablet that you request from us.
Subsection 2(b) then applies and we would fully comply and honor the return - so if you open the package, and upon inspection find it to be any different from the description given, you may return it without any penalties or additional costs, and you'd receive a full refund. If you would like further details you can PM me.
However, if you return it solely based on the fact that you have changed your mind, you will be liable for the shipping costs and a restocking fee of up to 25%, should that be necessary.
Everything stated above is just the MINIMUM requirements under law to keep a customer happy. All that aside, in the case of the Novo 7 Crystal, there will likely be no restocking fee if you simply change your mind, provided it is in its original condition so if you're unhappy with it we'll gladly refund you less shipping costs.
Further to that a standard 1 year warranty applies to this device, where we will collect a faulty unit, do preliminary tests, and should it be confirmed, you would be sent a new replacement or refurbished unit. From my own experience with the tablet, it really is amazing for the price in terms of performance and especially the build quality. Also note shipping is included at the pre-order price of R1499.
Again, feel free to contact either myself or Nimz should you have any other questions.
Regards,
Preston
