Its a free 3D MMORPG but its still in beta stages.

I kept getting disconnected with Entropia so that wasn't much fun.

I tried to play entropia but i can never connect...once i did so i created my character...and got disconnected. ive been tryin to connect again and again daily but my connection is always lost[V][?]

Since planeshift is still pre-beta u cant do much but walk around talk chat pick up items/money buy weapons. There is no combat or magic yet...but if you set it properly there is no lag at all[

A new version is coming in nov or dec and i think it will have combat. There are quersts now...but only quests in which you talk to NPC's.

well, for Entropia you want something more than a 56k, but wait, this is myadsl.co.za , erm, so you can't login with ADSL? There are major lag issues in the game, but you should at least be able to log in .. except if the newb town is overcrowded or that area's server is not lekker .. been a while since i visited that area.

In the forums it says something about a firewall, but I dont have a firewall, I get errors in other games like nfs underground ect. also saying sumthing about a firewall. I am connected to a hub with the adsl router connected to the hub. I am certian that my xp firewall is turned of does anyone know what I can do?

I did this and it worked 4 me:
1)Make sure all ure firewalls are off
2)Try running the program in compatibility mode for windows 2000(right click, properties and goto compatibility)
3)It may be your router or sumthin that is blocking it...but ive got the netgear and didnt have to change any of the settings to make it work.
