When you use something to solve your problems and not as a therapeutic tool then abuse is bound to crop up, same as anything even legitimate prescription drugs. The stuff that guy was using I would definitely not recommend, it’s the synthetic highly potent version of Kratom, the natural powder I have been using is far less potent and less open to abuse.

From what I have seen you certainly can over use Kratom but it’s not a devastating drug in that regard, if abused it can eventually fk you up and make your life a misery but you won't be ODing, stealing stuff or prostituting yourself to be able to get it.
I'm seeing different info from the US, its already banned in a few states along with 7-OH.Apparently the opiate type in Kratom isn't the highly addictive form, it has a different way of binding to the receptors or something along those lines. You can get addicted to it as with anything but it won't become the life annihilating experience that traditional opiates can be.
From reading reviews it seems to be generally very positive:
How often were you using it? You feel any affects when you stop using it for a while? So after trying it for a while Kratom is ok, it just tastes soo damn foul.
Don't get the raw powder as I ended up doing because it is very hard to take, I have yet to find a palatable way to get it down the hatch..
Ye, it's posted a few posts up.I know about it from this video
Worth a watch.
ah apologies. I can't actually watch them at work. ****ing youtube restricted mode by GPO.Ye, it's posted a few posts up.
That's more the Feel Free stuff that is problematic because its too palatable/concentrated and combines Kratom and Kava which is basically mixing a stimulant and a sedative which creates all kinds of havoc. The synthetic 7-OH stuff should definitely be banned but Kratom is no worse than tobacco or alcohol.I'm seeing different info from the US, its already banned in a few states along with 7-OH.
You can get it over the counter at the gas station and people are already maxxing out on it.

Maybe once or twice a week, I was initially taking the capsules and needing to swallow 4 XL capsules or more gets a bit much, the powder is a whole next level worse to get down. It is not highly addictive unless I suppose you have a history of latching onto drugs. I didn't feel anything if I stopped, for it to become an issue you need to take quite significant amounts on a daily basis, I read the point of addiction is taking over 15-20g a day, most I ever take is probably 3-4g in a day.How often were you using it? You feel any affects when you stop using it for a while?
Curious how far down the rabbit hole you need to go before it actually becomes addictive (although this does vary from person to person, but everyone will eventually succumb if something is inherently addictive).
That's pretty moderate use, that's not going to get you in trouble, how did it help with the stomach infection?I took kratom on and off for over 5 years, usually 100 grams per month, but not every day. My typical dose was 5-7 grams once per day, mixed into some orange juice which I chugged down. Taste is pretty gross, but OJ helps. I took it for multiple reasons: white strains for focus, motivation, and concentration, and red strains for kidney stone pain, since it's much better for pain relief than any over the counter meds. It also helped to settle my stomach after quite a bad stomach infection (H. Pylori) and having to take proton pump inhibitors and a course of antibiotics. I didn't develop any cravings or anything, but maybe one or two nights of restlessness after not taking it for 3 days or longer.
Kratom in it’s natural form is relatively innocuous, the concentrated tinctures and synthetic forms that make high volumes easy to consume is where things get out of hand.I’m the last person to talk about substance abuse but I wouldn’t touch kratom with a ten foot pole.
Fentanyl for me when I’m done with life, thank you.
The triple course of antibiotics I took cleared the infection, but it created a new problem! I became completely lactose intolerant, and I still am. Every time I drank a cup of coffee with milk or ate anything with butter, I got bad diarrhea and bloating. It took me months to finally figure out that dairy was the issue. Taking kratom first thing in the morning, before drinking coffee or eating anything, stopped the bloating and diarrhea in its tracks. I know one of the common side effects for a lot of people is often constipation, but for me, it just made everything "normal" lol. That's pretty moderate use, that's not going to get you in trouble, how did it help with the stomach infection?
