Does Anyone use the Iburst Technical Forum?

Just a thought.

Does anyone use the Iburst Technical forum anymore.

My view is that it is pretty much hidden away where it is, and so is not used.

I move that the Technical forum be moved to the Main Forum page like all the other technical forums.

What do you say?
 
IMO it isn't getting used as an iBurst Help delivery channel since iBursters realize that there is nothing they can do to fix base-station contention, which is the biggest reason why iBurst sucks so bad at times in certain areas...
 
I tend to agree with seburn and disagree with IC on this one.

Just looking at the Iburts General Forum there are 4 threads which technically belong in the IBurst technical Forum, all posted by noobs.

If I were a noob to these forums I wouldn't even think to go searching for a technical forum that does not follow the same format as the ADSL and MyWireless forums.

yeah well ic would say that, he was the one who asked rpm to make it the way it is :p

I don't think there are many technical issues to sort out. That is why the forum has gone quiet compared to a month or two ago. I have made this point before.

Hey, I'm not attached to the way it is or the way it was, whatever the majority of forumites prefer...you asked for a Technical forum to help each other out, you got it, but there doesn't appear to be enough "please help me get iBurst working" threads to even justify having a separate forum, another issue is that iBurster forumites tend to go off topic very often - so is it worthwhile having two different forums when there is no clear distinction between what's being discussed here & there...
 
um actually i remember IC asking everyone to vote - so it was not his decision Slim!
 
perhaps you might paste a link to substantiate your made up claim above. You see I remember there wasn't and also ic is the google king, he would have googled a link to the "magical poll" you're talking about in his reply, but he didn't so you need to stop using the drugs you confiscate

Drugs i use ? No Slim thats your job - pigs dont use drugs only criminals.
He did not make vote twinkie he asked what we think and people responded. U must stop smoking the green stuff that iburst (wbs) gives u for remuneration.

If WBS can use their whole helpdesk staff as a speedbump, why not ... but that will all depend on how you interpret 'ride', you see, ic? :D
