I had an unauthorised transaction on my FNB card, which their system detected and logged as fraud. The card's been soft-blocked. Will this affect the pending transactions?

I think so. But you should be able to unblock it in the app for when the debit order usually goes off. I could be wrong.
Thanks for the response, though I meant purchases I made on the card earlier in the day. I had a transaction attributed to Roblox, of all things. That hit out of the blue; I never even looked at that game.

Did you check your Google account ? Maybe kid bought a game or in app purchase? Maybe just give FNB a call and ask them with regards to pending transactions.

I have a Tymebank account for my Google Family with no money in it. Can also create a virtual card which you can pause.

Thanks, I'm planning on calling them first thing in the morning. No kids, so probably didn't happen from that particular attack vector.;) I always use a virtual card for online purchases, and can't imagine how it possibly had been skimmed.

The only thing I can think of is that it might have leaked from some site I used before I started using virtual cards.

Nah, their security is poor. Had to block my credit card twice this year. Bank can't tell me how this happens. Was also a victim of the Facebk transactions more than once. None of these were authorised yet they still allowed them.

It shouldn’t as the Gherkin said, it’s already been processed it’s just a case of being cleared.

Your bank account is still there, just not the card.

Any new transactions won’t be possible.
