It's crazy African Muslim hackers, they somehow think they're doing a service. I've gotten hit 3 times, each time from a different crazy African Muslim group. Most notably Morocco, but they even put some bad ass Arabic track in the background of the front page, was kinda tempted to leave it alone for a while back then.......

One of my sites email accounts was hacked a few weeks ago... Some chinese bugger sent off a few hundred spam messages until the servers rate limit kicked in... The result? All the emails from that domain go to spam in google, the once popular website is now getting 0 traffic from google...

A word to the wise for all who own their own website... use super strong passwords....

This is a major problem for shared hosting platforms in SA, they do not incorporate many of the failsafe methods used to prevent a brute force attack... Beware!
