saw Car vertical, the vehicle history site has a SA flag now,

is it live in SA, I thought with the sorry state of our used car market with Code 3 sold as code 2 and written off cars being sold as new,

they wouldnt try launch it here, where we dont really have solid laws around roadworthy in SA.

anybody got any insight here?

I follow this CC & he has been punting CV for a few months.

^^^ thats where I saw the advert as well,
thought to myself its not possible its operational in SA, or got very limited and useless info, hardly worth the R300 to buy a report.

Car vertical is a load of shte, they are 4 times the price of competitors in some instances and it only works if the cars service/repair history and accident damage was reported and you only know that after buying a report. Obviously in the ads they cherry pick vehicles that show everything down to the last car wash done.
Also it will be near useless in South Africa because there's no central car history reporting body here.

yup I also saw it on Car Guys YT channel after seeing it on overseas channels for years (Alex Auto for eg)

had the same reservations as you guys

On the topic of "Car Guy" YT channel, you okes are aware he actually knows extremely little about cars?

To be fair he never claimed he did but the channel name is a hella misnomer of note.

Too many wannabe Youtubers creating car channels focussed on touring WeBuyCars
