Does changing a plug invalidate warranty

I get that they would repudiate the warranty on a three point plug. Their goto reason would be you messed up live and neutral, and you have no leg to stand on, but a two point plug it does not care, so this should not cause any hassle I hope

Thats also why the new socket outlets have 3 pin ( that look like 2 pin plugs ) but cant be turned upside down .

wouldn't think so, if you go to another country, you obviously change plugs, and that shouldn't invalidate the warranty.

NZ and Europe you not allowed to change plugs yourself. Need to get an Electrician to do it for you.

Just remember if you buy a surge multiplug - the ones that are guaranteed , the El**s brand. You must register the multiplug and all the devices you put on it with the manufacturer. Otherwise they wont pay out any claim if a device pops behind the surge plug/multiplug.
