Hi
Trying to track down an alternate router that can be used with iBurst besides Linksys. Anyone know what will work without any problems?

Thanks

I got D-Link 624+ .... works great & holds connection as long as you need.

i would personally recommend the linksys WRT54G, been using it with iBurst since the early days and I find it works very well.

I am runing my connection on a Gigabyte B49G and it works wonders...

Routers

Yes, Crash is correct, most rouers suppr PPPoE and should work. I'm using a Abocom (Mecer) FWS410 wireless access router. It works like a bomb. just having a few config problems trying to get torrents to work?

Router question

when you state does these routers work with i-burst.What do you mean? Can I use for example a d-link di-624 to replace the i-burst modem or are you talking about ussing the d-link to keep the connection .

regards

The iBurst UTD is a PPPoE modem, so you can connect (via Ethernet) any PPPoE client router e.g. D-Link 624+ like mine. Router logs in via PPP, does the NAT & firewalling & extends you iBurst connection via ethernet & WiFi.
