Does Garmap work on the Blackberry 8520?

Hi guys,
Ok so i downloaded the GARMAP application (i am on MTN BIS by the way) via MTN, but i can`t get the thing to work! Everytime i try to use it to get me to a location, it says "No GPS signal". So question is, does GARMAP work with the 8520 or am i doing something wrong?

Ah, i suspected as much. is there a way around this though? `Cos i have a WAYFINDER GPS unit (came with a previous Sony Ericsson), if i paired my 8520 with the Wayfinder thingy, would GARMAP work through that medium?
