I hvae now n=been holding on the phone for nearly 40 minutes in order to purchase a new iburst modem adapter, what a joke....

I need to phone them to migrate my THREE accounts back to the Giga 1 packages as i fel it is ull that we should have to pay for a 5gb accoutn AND the 64k throttled service....

Come on iburst, answer the damn phone

:twisted::twisted::twisted:

So i fianlly get through after nearly 40 minutes of holding, ordered my adapter(for which i am still waiting for the email), and the joke starts with the fact that i cannot contact the retention department to migrate the accounts back.....come on, sort out your system and make it easier for the customers to contact you...

Keep us posted on this matter/issue.

There's alot of members on this forum, who want to migrate back to their old package with the 64 kbps service, before the end of this month.

If you are successful in changing your package, let the rest of us know which is the easiest, most painless way to go about it.

Yes i am one of them .

I have been trying to upgrade my package for come close to 3 months, I've tried calling them on several occasions. Either the phone is busy, you put on hold for ever or no one picks up. I've sent many emails, I get the automated response, but never a reply.

I eventually went to their store in Centurion spoke to the sales dude here. Gave him all my details, said I'll be upgraded by the end of the month. That was November 2009. I'm still waiting......

They have such a great concept, but no client services. I wonder how many hundreds of thousands they loose each year due to incompetent staff.

Regarding migration and 64k after being throttled. This does not apply to month to month clients anymore and only clients who have been on a 24 months contract before the contract name change. So this means that all iBurst clients will pay R199.00.pm for the 64k service. I have noticed that all you contracts are on a month to month basis, so if we migrate your contract to 1Gig you will pay R149.00 and if you need the 64k you will then be charged an extra R199.00

That is the response i got from one of the people at iburst regarding the migrations....WTF.....Jannie, where are you, please respond to your companies claims, you assured us we would be able to go back to the packages we were on(anyone got the link for me)...

I am still struggling to purchase a new adapter so that i can actually use one of my modems at the moment....unbelievable....not only can i not migrate back, but i cannot even turn one of my modems on right now.....

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where is Shaun when we need him the most....

That place is headed DOWNHILL & FAST!!!!!

It's really a shame though. Like someone else mentioned somewhere:

Such an awesome concept but so terribly executed......

My experience has been nothing but a pleasure(apart from signing up in the first place, always a hassle) until now that is

It is sad that Jannie is not responding to queries now that the brown stuff has hit the fan
