Does IS support OpenDNS?

I'm having a few problems with online gaming and people have suggested trying OpenDNS. Will the new DNS settings with on IS?

I don't know of any that don't support OpenDNS, give it a go the worse that happens is you stop using it. I've been using OpenDNS for ages (on both IS and SAIX) and haven't noticed any serious problems because of it.

Just remember you will need international bandwidth for it.

http://www.dyndns.com/ have a look - IS DNS is 168.210.2.2 & 196.14.239.2 and SAIX DNS 196.43.45.190 & 196.43.46.190 on static routers as far as i know...

ive been using open dns fo rmonhes now and all seems gr8 and we run a wireless network with more than 100 clients connected to it

You can use any DNS provider you want to, it's just another service as far as IS's network is concerned.

One major issue I have come across with using OpenDNS is that you will not benefit from local Akamai content delivery.
