Does music influence mood and performance while driving?

Funnily enough my 'favourite' driving music is EDM style with little to no vocals (Infected Mushroom, Pendulum, etc.)

But now that I have wheels that don't sound like a Boeing on take-off at highway speeds, I might load up some Pink Floyd and Iron Maiden albums again:unsure:

Music has a measurable and tangible effect on emotions and behaviour.

You try listening to "So I ****ed your bitch, you fat motherfxer" for months on end, and you'll start behaving like a wannabe gangster.
Lol, I know suit and tie people who listen to trap and rap everyday. Yet to see any of them become wannabe gangsters.

My car takes 5 minutes to accelerate from 0 to 100, and the top speed is 120, so I can listen to whatever I want.

Funny enough, I was listening to a podcast recently and they were saying that it's impossible not to alter your drving style while listening to the full version of...

Depends on who is in the vehicle with me. If I'm alone then yes.

Last trip to Durban was gliding down the N3 with the sounds of Chunda Munki and while it didn't improve the performance of the car in any way, damn it was a smooth ride..

That too. and Kyle Watson. I like the music but fall asleep listening too it while driving. Give me some 80's synth stuff or rock music.

I'm starting to latch onto the 80's synth/vaporwave stuff as well of late. It's also remarkably suitable for some beats to listen to when you're klapping it at the gym.
