Does playing a game over a WLAN use up my cap?

I am playing an online game over a WLAN connection in my house. It works fine but I am unsure as to whether or not it uses up my cap. Can someone please help?

If you are playing online then you are using your cap.

Anything that does over your DSL connection (up or down) contributes to your cap.
