I was wondering if Telkom reads this forum....My guess is 100% that they do...The only question now is, if they DO read all this ****, why dont they try do DO something about this??...I mean, think for yourselfes....If YOU had a company, and so many ppl were complaining, won't you try BETTER it???...just asking...:)

No need :) there is no real risk of them loosing customers... they have a monopoly remember ...

Would be nice if we could have some official confirmation on this. Seem to remember RPM saying in the past that they do monitor it. Is this still the case?

Cheers, Nick

eish... Do Telkom monitor this forum*
Does is not used correctly in this sentance

you're wrong.

"does" is correct, "do" would refer to Telkom being multiple companies. but it's not, it's a single company, therefore it's "does".

and it's "sentence", not "sentance". :)

hmm, I corrected that... along with put a question mark at the end of Forum. oh well. :)

and to answer, nobody at lower level would since the story went round saying they banned the site at the offices, if there was someone he isnt really doing anything good here, just looking at the "TelkomInternet capped" thread and capping people that get near 10GB :D

Yup. If customers cannot run, then telkom can afford to walk... ;)

hrm.. possibly but i don't think in a official capacity. where's gangstarr.. haven't seen him for abit.

Debatable...

The staff at Telkom is terrible
The staff at Telkom are terrible

The former is gramatically correct, but seldom used in spoken language.

Surely both "staff" in your example and "Telkom" in the title are collective nouns, and therefore able to take both singular and plural verbs? Either would be grammatically correct.

:p

If they don't read this forum then they're sillier than I've ever given them credit for (and I give Telkom a LOT of credit in that dept.).

These forums would provide them with a direct line to the needs/wants/complaints of their most vocal critics. You'd be a fool too not see the value in that.

Much like asking the following question:

Does a de facto monopoly have competitors [that are] effectively able to compete with the monopoly?

Fact: Telkodemonopolies does have spies that read what we all post here, and the beastly monopoly often deploys its trolls to post here as well, but the fact is that Telkodemonopolies is a beast that is fighting change to the point where it feels the need to constantly lie to its customers in a futile attempt to brainwash customers - instead of accepting that change is innevitable and Telkodemonopolies will be remembered infamously for its unethical & evil ways.
