We were told no increases this year, I have no problem with this given the economic climate. However for them to turn around and say they are increasing what you are measured against does not seem fair to me!

What do you think?

Did you get a promotion during the year? If so, then perhaps more are expected of you.

"what you are measured against"?? You mean they are assessing you on performance?

Can you explain a bit more?

Basically my target for the year. Its going up, but salary stays the same.

So you won't get more if you exceed your target, but your target has increased - is that right?

What happens if you don't meet your target?

No increase is equivalent to a decrease.

You are in sales, happened to all my friends during most part of last year.
No it's not fair.

Will they not measure you NOW against your target which went up?
