Hi there everyone recently I purchased an hdmi to vga cable from zasttra. Today I tried to connect my ps3 to my vga monitor and It didn't work so I swapped it around I tried to connect my laptop using hdmi to my TV which has vga so I need to know whether there is something I can do

PS3 need a HDCP Compatiblie monitor to work. Not sure if VGA can do that, DVI can (via hdmi), if your monitor supports it.

ah didn't think of that.

No vga definitely can't do HDCP

If the screen is blue/black on a ps3 when new(different) cables are plugged in, just hold the power button, it should bleep.

My monitor just says check signal cable
