Does Unisa IT Courses have opportunities?

I have gone through list of Unisa higher certificate courses here https://www.board.org.za/unisa-higher-certificates-courses-5163/ and would love to register. Anyone with Unisa Higher Certificate in IT, can you work or apply for jobs with the certificate?

what are your reasons for wanting to do a higher certificate as opposed to say a more fully fledged degree? If the latter is an option (assuming you dont have one at the moment in another field) I would recommend going that route if you can. Alternatively depending on what kind of IT work you want to do, there are likely more appropriate industry certifications out there to do.

You'd need to do it at a technical university like CPUT, etc., find it for your region.

As Markd said, look into where it is that you want to go/what type of work you're interested in.
Doing a higher certificate is not really going to help that much, just because it's just an intro to programming in it, but it can help with getting a job in IT, and it can be used to see if it interests you and build up credits for going into diploma after (plus easier to get into diploma if you don't manage the cut, usually spots reserved at the uni for those who are continuing studies, priority is always given to internal).
