Dogs and Carpets - Vacuum Cleaner Question

So my dog is pretty good and asks to go out most of the time but if it rains she refuses to go on wet grass and if I am not careful I end up with an accident on the carpet.

So what I am looking for is some recommendations on a good water vacuum. I don't know exactly what they called, but something that will give a good deep clean and not clean out my wallet in the process.

It's called deep cleaning or extraction vacuums and I'm afraid they are not cheap, ~R5k range if you don't go for the super expensive ones.

Might be better (cheaper) to rent one for a day, my local PnP & a few places have them.

Tx that actually pretty good to know, I think my local PnP also does but never paid much attention.

I actually have tiles but we put a carpet down in winter because it keeps the place so much cosier.
