Domain hosting and Emails

I'm looking at taking over a domain from my mom, and moving the registration to Afrihost.
One thing I'd like to to be able to have a few email addresses linked to that domain, and then have them auto-forward to a relevant gmail address... ie a@domain goes to x@gmail, b@domain goes to z@gmail

I assume this is possible?
