Hi guys. Does Hetzner allow for domain push (transferring a domain name from one Hetzner account to another Hetzner account?)

Also.. during a domain push - can the owners contact details (email / contact number) which are listed on that specific domain name be changed to the new owners contact details?


Please assist; feedback would be much appreciated.
 
Yes, did it couple of times,

Send mail to profiles@ and cc the receiving/pushing party in the mail. So Hetzner's admin department can see both parties are involved.

Give the from and to customer numbers, and the admin contacts of each profile.
Then ask to transfer domain in question.

If you supply all the info in the first mail, it can be done in few minutes.

Ask the other party to reply on that mail, stating that they are happy to accept or release the domain, and the transfer between profiles can happen.

After transfer, log in on consoleh, and update domain details. Apply and done

How do I transfer a domain or package if its already with Hetzner?
If your domain and/or package is already hosted with Hetzner but not on your profile/account (it may be on someone else’s profile eg. a Hetzner reseller), you would need to apply for a ‘Profile transfer’ to transfer this domain and/or package to your profile/account.

STEP 1: Create your own Profile with Hetzner

If you don’t already have one, then you will need to create a profile with Hetzner, before the domain can be moved/transferred to your control.

Once the above is complete, an email with access information to your konsoleH control panel, including Client number and Management Password, will be sent to the Profile owner’s email address specified on your profile.

If you are an existing Hetzner customer please proceed to STEP 3.

STEP 2: Provide your banking details

Browse to konsoleH (http://myaccount.hetzner.co.za)
Log in with your Client number and Management password
Select the ‘Account Admin’ tab (top right)
Select ‘Banking details’
Enter your banking details

STEP 3: Request a Profile Transfer

Send an email to [email protected] from your authoritative email address providing the following information:

Your Client number (do not include your Management password)
The name of the domain which you are transferring
Type of hosting plan required (refer to the Hetzner product information pages for the available options.)
Hosting location (South Africa or Germany)
Payment interval (monthly, quarterly, bi-annually, yearly)
Any additional requirements for the hosting account.
The Profile owner’s name for the profile on which your domain currently resides.
Shortly after receipt of your email, we will contact the Profile Owner to release the domain from their profile. Only once consent is received from both parties and all the requirements have been met, is it possible for us to proceed. From that point, please allow 1-2 business days for processing. Both parties will be contacted to confirm completion.
