Domain Transfer away from Telkom

Perhaps phone them - keep trying until you need to file a complaint with ZACR. There's probably a better way - I'm actually surprised as my dealings with Telkom have become somewhat better over the last year or so (regarding phone-related services).

The few domains I have is still self registered using the old ticket system. Makes these things much easier. Backup Wordpress site, change nameservers and restore on new server.


Hope they don't force me later on to change my setup.

Hello, I know this is an old thread, but I still ran into this issue 3 years later.

This is how I finally transferred my domain name out of Telkom.
Send an email to [email protected] with the following attached:

1. A letter of intent.
2. A copy of your ID.
