For RIM to pull an Apple stunt they need a Jobs. And that is exactly what those on the inside say RIM doesn't have and will never have as long as the current CEO's hang around. RIM first need to get a new leader with Job's-like vision. A hostile takeover might provide that and the way the stock price is going such a takeover is on the cards for sure. Might just be what the doctor ordered.
