Donate old computers, how ?

I have an old PC that is useless to me now, its a p3/4 not sure 1gig ram. It works fine so I'm sure that some poor kids could learn how to use it.

Does anyone know of a place that accepts donations in JHB ?

1) African Sky (Apparently it is currently the only ISO-14000-certified e-waste company in South Africa.)

2) Incredible Connection (As of 1 November 2009 you can dump e-waste at any of their stores nationwide.)

Just heard that often they have specials where you can drop off your old stuff and get discount on new stuff.

If the schools in GP are anything like here, we're always glad of a PC or two (as long as it's not hectically broken) as budgets are always quite tight.

Put it in the classifieds or on gumtree as free to collect. There are always people out there in need of PCs.
