Ive got a 2003 Almera 1.6i i got a question...I really want to try and make it a one of a kind car..interms of performance and handling.
Its not a very smooth ride and i still got std wheels on.
What can i do,to try improve the handling on the car,on a tight budget:sick:!
I do know that i need to get sum new Tyres and mags but not sure what kind!

This is gonna be a classic thread.

IMO, budget or not, there's nothing you can do to improve the look of that car, unless you want people to think that you're from Brakpan.

tight budget ?? its not going to work. i'd say, try and make a coupe from it, bigger front doors, no back doors, new hood, new spoiler kits, new lights, new interior, white and red leather, 18 - 19 inch rims with low profile tires. rear spoiler, side skirts, supercharger, free flow exhaust with some nice sound :)

The easiest way of improving handling is to drop the car's suspension a bit, and fit on some bigger rims. That helped me a bit, more grip to the road as well.

But then again, dropping the car a bit will give a bit more of a bumpy ride and bigger rims increases fuel economy marginally.

Improving looks:
17" rims, bling bling
Angel eye headlights
Bonnet guard ( makes the car look kinda cool)
Body kits
Tint the windows

Performance:
Gasflow, port,polish the head
Higher duration cam
vernier pulley
Performance air filter
freeflow exhaust and branch
Turbo/Supercharging is last resort as its the most expensive

Rather tell us what your budget is, that would help alot!
