Don't drink and drive options

So with the ever increasing roadblocks and dangers of drinking and driving, my friends and I need a way to get to and from a wedding in Midrand (we are all based in and around Randburg-ish area). Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions as to what would be the best idea. There will be between 9 and 13 people needing a lift, and we would prefer for multiple pick ups and drop offs.

Those services like good fellas are practical, but since its only one night, you don't want to have to splash out on a monthly subscription, and then face a hefty cancellation fee when you terminate the service.

So anyone have numbers/websites for good and affordable taxi or limo bus services, or any other brilliant ideas of how we can be responsible citizens?

(I have googled it, just looking for companies with references that have been used before, since some of these sites are scammers)

I always use safe cabs, from randburg to midrand will be about R250 or so, but if you're splitting it it's not too expensive. Usually I keep the drivers card and make arrangements that i will call him later to pick me up at the same venue. Used them quite a bit and never had any hassles. Polite and safe.

I nominate the wife/girlfriend as the designated driver...LOL
But, ja, thats how we do it back then, nominate a driver. It's K@rk if its your turn, but its safe. And you'll still have fun.

Call a cab is the best bet, make arrangements before hand, they usually work late hours

unless you know the cab driver really well, dont use independant cab drivers, they are generally less reliable (in my expirience anyways)

I usually draw the short straw, so its not that fun. Also, i think if I have one drink, I would probably be arrested at a roadblock, even though I feel fine.
