github.com and stackoverflow doesn't load. Every other website loads. If I change the sim in my router for any other ISP, e.g. vodacom, it loads fine.

After much hassles back and forth they told me to use a APN called 'unrestricted', which gives me github.com access, but not stackoverflow.com

When I use telkom mobile data I get the errors as shown in the attached image (when I connect via any other providers I dont).

When contacting Telkom for help, they said the problem is on stackoverflow.com's side. And then hung up on me.

Well I won't be renewing my contract.

To be fair routing issues go over tier1 support's heads more than likely

Looks like CDN routing through weird path and CSP thinking its a cross-site forgery

Tried a vpn?

To be fair to OP, I just created my mybroadband account due to the same issue :) I cannot load any stackoverflow at all with similiar issues over Adobe.com network - I will try the APN change shortly :)

Changing the APN to "unrestricted" worked to load stackoverflow (and github loads as well) :)

Anyone else maybe able to confirm if you can load adobe.com fine? It loads but is unbelievably slow and we're unable to download / update any of the Adobe software within Adobe Creative Cloud. Photoshop updates to about 8% before it eventually times out and Illustrator does not install at all. Visiting any Adobe site loads extremely slow (even behance).

As mentioned originally, the unrestricted APN helps. It comes ago. It was fine for about 18 months, then suddenly out the blue it stops. Wasted 1 afternoon getting github working, then they next afternoon getting stackoverflow. Facebook and all those other website load fine. I play with APN settings, restart the router a few times. And eventually, those two sites load again.

If I use a proxy I can browse stackoverflow homepage, but soon as I click on a post it wants me to confirm I am a human, and the capture does not work through the proxy.

If I change SIM to vodacom or CELL cell in my router, stackoverflow and github always load perfectly.

I just tried adobe.com with telkom mobile and unrestricted APN, and it loads at a good speed and looks fine. There are some errors about blocked content in the console however.

VPN is that like a proxy? As far as I understand VPN is like SSH, for connecting securely to a network... what network should I VPN into, the internet :)?

I've changed my VPN now to route all my traffic through the VPN and Adobe updates packages fine, I suspect this is some kind of DNS issue which is unlikely to be resolved as it only affects certain sites.

To be fair to Telkom, their uncapped LTE is very reasonably priced so having a VPN on standby may be a good call

Hey guys! Having this problem on Telkom LTE and even my FTTH line. Sites like twitch.tv or reddit.com also do not work is what i noticed but work on Vodacom, MTN etc.. Upon looking for solutions, i saw this reason on the Telkom Community Forum.

The issue is a DNS issue related to specific areas. If you are in a area where there is DNS issues for Telkom, the site won't load. Some users tried changing their DNS to Google's (8.8.8.8) and it worked, but for me that doesnt really work with most sites.

Until Telkom solves their DNS issues we just have to wait or use a VPN:thumbsdown::crying:

You are probably better off setting cloudflare 1.1.1.1 as primary and 8.8.8.8 as secondary. They work the best. Fast website loading times. Telkom DNS has been unreliable and you will end off thinking the internet is down when it's just bad DNS.

Also @OP CGN is carrier grade nat which gets implemented when you use the internet apn so best to use unrestricted if you basically do anything other than facebook or youtube because even gaming can be problematic when using party chat on xbox or ps4 for example even p2p the unrestricted apn is best.
