I think the pets is the reason i stopped playing my hunter and the lock
it just started is givinig me the same play experience as hunter hiding behind my pet and in pvp pet get ignored they go for the master why bother with pet.

Well i am goining back to playing my frost mage most fun in instances
i told one of my friends to roll one i think i convinced my self to play it again lol not him.
Only one regret on my frostie i should have rolled undead not BE.

Nother thing i didnt like alot of bosses(elementals too) were imune to frost nova but i see arcanes tree got some talent that may fix the problem.
:D Anyways i got alot of lowbies in my guild that want boosts tru lowlvl instances think frost mage is better for that.

Lol, I got owned by a surv spec hunter last night and I jumped him too. His pet ate me whilst he just stuck lots of arrows into me.

Granted, I made a lot of errors when switching forms and being a pure feral with no pvp talents made things a lot harder.

Point is that a pet has a ton of advantages that can be used to ones advantage.

As to me, I'm going to do the learn2play nub reading on how to gank a hunter :)
 
If you're a Hunter gone are the days of personal DPS being the most important. Pet DPS and control is an essential part of playing a Hunter properly.
For locks it's a bit different. If you're Affliction spec then you just keep your Imp out and Dark Pact his ass.

I did 2 Ramps runs last night and they were really nice. One of the reason why was because the first run had a really good Hunter who trapped well and used his Pet to offtank properly.
We had 0 issues even when we accidentally pulled too many mobs.

I wouldn't be quick to discredit Pets because being able to control them properly is a skill all on it's own that people will love you for.

Feral best way put track humanoinds on and get the jump in cat form dot him up bleed then fininsh move and switch to bear he will fear you change to baer hope you got furor so you can charge in bear form but a SV hunter is a HARD target if he uses his trap rigth.
With my new spec ballance i have no problems with hunters i let the pet sleep slumber for 30 sec hibernate then i entangle roots moonfire starfire
insects and i keep it goining and if pet get out after 30 sec intangle roots again ballance is the way to go if you wanna kill hunters.:D

But always put pet to sleep first thing you do.

Just something bg and stv tougth me.

I love ballance spec in stv you own ferals and hunters remember you can even put ferals to sleep in forms

Petruz, u couldnt even beat a warrior with your druid.
And they dont even have real ranged damage.
Entangle roots is almost useless against hunter, isnt it?
Its not like they are trying to get into melee range.....

As i remember you out gear me by far i had lvl 29 bg gear and i had feral gear after speccing ballance not good mana pool and i still had you less than 1/4 of health almost dead go fugure if i had moonkin form and the rigth gear your waroir is toast.

And you had expensive enchants i had none.
O and you have insinia of horde.
Just because waroirs SUCK vs Hunter frosties and ballance druid thats a Fact o i forgeting they suck against every thing only rogues that has a hard time with em. lol

And in bg i was always above knater on the list lol with feral gear.

Jase wat lvl was the hunter?

Survival have a few mean melee abilities... Deterrence (+25 parry and dodge % for like 15sec), Counter attack owns at lower lvls (5sec stun)

Draak was above me.

And remember i still have lvl 20-29 gear aswell.
Infact my pants are still lvl 18 hahaha.
As for insignia....you said i was not allowed to use it in the duel......

But last night i duelled a druid who knew what he was doing(hahaha) and he beat me. I couldnt touch him.
I must still learn how to stance dance. But i finally got Mortal Strike.

I was above Draak 2 times and always above knater lol.the truth hurts.
The last one i was first on the list.
Yes lvl 29 bg gear with plus 20 enchants.

If only Healers would target our pets more often, i might be more inclined to use them in CC. Im Marks spec, so my pet is kinda squishy, he can still work as CC but requires healing. Most healers just ignore our little companions which is slightly annoying. Pet can off tank one and I can trap another - essentially removing two from the mob...
Most of the time i keep my pet at bay, he just never gets healed.. dies all the time... takes to long to res and too much mana... come on healers be a little more animal friendly :)

DUDE I DONT THINK ANY PRIEST IS GONE WANT TO HELA A MM SPEC HUNTER WEAK PET WHEN HES GOT A TANK(WAROIR,DRUID) TO FOCUS ON.

Dont even think a you use mend pet alot cause i know mm is high on mana.
if you like the pet thing spec bm the pet becomes a badass then
 
Yeah ill spec BM for Raids, not there yet though... Mend pet doesnt help enough and often the DPS exceeds the heal rate... When fighting a mob, im sorry but theres plenty time to throw a heal on a pet... seeing as the hunters can take two creeps healer shld at least try support the pet... itll make it easier on the tank...
 
I didnt touch BM till 70... i lvl'd MM all the way

tho i lvl'd from 60-70 with my pre-tbc raiding guild :) <3 those healers, they healed my pet even tho i wasnt BM

Seriously though, log on and I come group with and we can fly through some Q's. I'll even log Eina on and have a go at this warrior thing....
