Doogee Mix

She must have got a dud. Mine is far from unresponsive. And the button too is fast. Haven't seen any other reviews complain about the responsiveness.

I do however agree about it being a fingerprint magnet. But I have the cover on so it's ok.

First OTA update was available when I got my phone and turned it on. 2nd OTA update just became available today. Don't let anyone kid you that Chinese phones never get OTA updates.

5,5-inch Sharp LCD

Powered by quad-core MT6737 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz supported by 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of expandable storage
The Doogee Mix has either 4/64Gb, 6/64Gb or 6/128Gb
Octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 (MT6757CH) (4x 2.5 GHz ARM Cortex-A53 + 4x 1.6 GHz ARM Cortex-A53)
Samsung 5.5" Super AMOLED display

So very much a different class of phone

I don't know. I use a DSRL camera to take photos. I have a problem with people always saying phone cameras have carp quality. If I spend R3K on a phone I don't expect the same quality as my R10K camera. And I don't expect my camera to be able to Telegram.

The one on the phone I use for taking snaps for reminders or to pass info on. Pics only meant to be viewed on a small screen anyway.

Most phones have pretty low quality cameras. They can't squeeze a quality DSRL and a quality lens into <10mm of case. Yes there are phones that have better cameras, but they will never be on a par with a DSRL or even a fair quality point-n-shoot.

that's fine and all but intentionally deceiving people is not.

These guys are fooling people into thinking that they have a dual camera setup (where one of the cameras are actually not doing anything at all).

Pretty doodgy if you ask me

This phone sounds and looks interesting. Huawei and others however has phones that has full HD for the same price and much more reliable with more mature OS.
