Now onto Doom: Annihilation:
lol, why did I watch that? If there is one plus then it would be the cgi demons at the very end. They should have gone with that for the whole movie instead of going for blue men (they are actually zombies) and ET-Had-Bad-Food (imps). No pinky, and nothing else than 'sumerian' speak and a bit of scribble. The flick itself is a b-movie, with a fitting budget, but I would say its more inline with erm d-movie.
Ok so it was really bad. haha.
What could have made it better? Well for one, not a whole move that literally goes around the plot of needing to reopen a portal between delta labs (earth) and phobos (mars). ( so they fast travel using the portals between earth and mars )
Also very badly placed quips, like "erm we/you should go down to carmac, he's a scientist" or "nightmare mode <something
Just avoid unless its something in the background and even then, it is going to bad.
Finally, I suppose we'd never see one to one adaption that actually features proper gore, symbols, hell, etc etc minus all the pussyfooting around the subject.
