ADSL and phone line installed in CPT after 14 days! Miracle I say!
Anyway got myself some gigs and logged onto FEAR Combat MP. Coming from Iburst, its the 1st time in a year that I've been able to play a MP game with no lag. I had a <100 ping to the local SAIX server. I got slaughtered online but it was worth the wait!
A techie came around my home and installed a phone line, but I had to setup my ADSL router, and go and buy a microfilter, since the guy did not offer to install my modem or provide me with a one of those microfilters. So does that count as a self-install? I'm sure they will bill me anyway ignoring that fact. I guess I'll be arguing over the phone with Telkom about it later after I did request it on my order.
