Hi all,

Apologies in advance if I have posted this in the wrong thread or forum.

I have daily DoS attacks on my clients netgear router and they are specifically from 2 IP's (or same range). I have them all day on certain days.

What is my course of action with these recorded logs and times?

The 2 are foreign ranges I think (64.x.x.x and 208.x.x.x)

There is a 3rd which is local (196.x.x.x)

This is causing the router to drop the line at times.

Any information, guidance or advice is much appreciated.

Not much you can do except contact the abuse@ address of the owners the IP address`s in question.

Don't know if this is related, but can't you change settings on your router/PC so that it won't reply to pings, would something like help at all ?! I know it helps for something, just can't remember wot ;)
