Dota 2 - after multiple attempts to connect

Hi All

Have not had this issue before but since 7.00 release for Dota 2 Ive been getting this error that gives a 5, 20 and 24 hour ban if you cannot connect to the server when you find an unranked game. Has anyone possibly had this error and found a solution

Ive been scouring the internet, using console for connection and other fixes but nothing to date. Hoping I am not the only one in this particular boat

Sounds like a firewall is blocking some ports. What connection, ISP and router/firewall are you using?

Ive disabled my anti virus which is Nod32. ISP is Cool Ideas with infrastructure from Vumatel. 20/20 Fibre uncapped unshaped
I looked around and there was some similar mention that the ISP (not necessarily mine) but may be blocking after the 7.0 change

Does it do the same on another PC/laptop? Does the router have any funny virtual server / NAT / DMZ settings in use?
