I am looking for a Social Dota players to start a social clan. You don't have to be a skilled player, but if you are its a + . I am also new to this game and still learning. If you are interested in joining my clan please leave your steam names. Like i said its just for social playing, but if we feel we can go up on the ladder, then we can try for the Do gaming league or the Dota open Tournament

I would join but it would combine our level skills and put us in matches that would be too difficult for you, no offence.

I would have loved it, if there was some form of tournaments for more "noob" players. The Do Gaming League is way above my skill level, but it would have been nice if there was some form of tournament that would cater for people more my skill level. When I refer to skill level, I do not mean amount of games played or win rate, as I have played a fair amount, but my skill is just not as good as others.

Jap - try watching tournaments or replays of tournaments. The difference between skilled players and "noobs" is that the skilled players have brilliant timing. The difference between getting pwnt and making big *** is in the timing of your attacks. If you are a support hero, don't initiate unless you are witch dr then go for it.

It took me a while to get used to Dota as I am a FPS player, but now I can hold my own against some pretty decent players. Main thing to remember is when you pick a carry avoid team fights at all cost until you are level 14 or up. if you have farmed enough you should be able to take on at least 2 heros by yourself. Then hopefully you don't play with a bunch of russians that leave you to fight alone...

You need to eat, **** and sleep. No "need" to join a clan, unless you want to play in the DGL. Why do "need" to join a clan?
