Wow thanks man!! Would be forever be in your debt if you can organize me one..

Don't want to buy one though, would rather wait for F2P is released but again that would mean the waiting game, which I suck at!!

But thanks again, will await your immanent return.

With regards to the server, guess it will take strain now and again (especially with a new eager crowed) but they should sort in out before I can get the invite ;)

Peace man!

This really irritates me... Here we have a assuming decent Dota player anxiously looking for a key. Chances are he will be a positive influence on the community and on the games. Then we have so many idiots who constantly leave games, say the game is awful (never played the original) and all sorts of bad excuses - because they got a key from one of their friends or whatever.

Only about 45% of my games have ended in 5v5, which is rather sad.

ya i am also finding to many "n00bs" on the servers. They just leave! out of my last 4 games, only 1 has ended 5 v 5. It is nice that they have that reconnect function though, so people actually can't "drop".

I Also have to learn what heroes look like :p

its nice and all.. but for some reason just doesn't have that like fluidity of dota 1.

Also since this is about keys.. how lazy are you :p i searched dota 2 on steam, did the survey, gave them what they wanted, 3 days later, i had dota 2 on my profile ready for download.

Howzit boys!! Yeah, forgot to report back but also did the survey on steam and in about 4-5days got the invite. Thanks for your contribution though.

Still awaiting friends to get their keys before I really jol though, find it much more entertaining if I have a buddy online with me otherwise I see no point in actually tolerating the noobs on the servers, pisses me off if you spend 20min in a game just to end on a bad note.

Peace

Yeah I still blame the russians, they have been the complete downfall of this game, they dont speak a word of english, play like its COD, no team work...

Dota has implemented a server for them but they just wont go there.

Dude i actually like it when those "nubs" leave, they didnt farm anything, so your team gets a little gold from their boots and the 1 gold per sec...So you can usually pull a match back..But dude in all honest, that is why there is a custom chat for the South African players with about 300 players, I always go there, post invite, then there is a promiss that ill have a good game atleast.

dude if your mates are going to join you, put like a clan tag...Gee the EU gets so upset, i remember when a game started, the other team will be like, look at this clan loose..

10 mins into the game we died 4 times, then they were trying to harrass with look at them loosing, get a new clan...

Then bam we farmed so hard we broke their backs...All we could do was ???
What were you saying?

I don't mind the bad players... I had an interesting game yesterday where we had a guy on our team who said straight-up that he's a newbie and that he needs help. We all really appreciated that; so he was eager to listen to the rest of the team and we had a great time teaching him and we actually won in the end.

It's the bad players with bad attitudes that grind my battery; a newbie with no interest in asking for help who completely ruins it for everyone. And they ALWAYS pick the hard carries... ALWAYS!! You CANNOT win with your hard carries (a Rikimaru no doubt) going 0 - 9 in 20 mins; and then blaming his team because he failed.

On a completely side note: The game does need a lot of work though. The collisions are terrible and the sounds need some work. It's annoying playing as Ursa and not hearing your Earthshock or your fury swipes actually "hit" other players. If this game is completely ready by next month, I'll eat my own fingers.

I registered for the beta through Steam about a month ago and got an invite email about a week ago.

Did the same and downloaded over the weekend. I use to play HON a lot but got tired of the flaming, swearing, trolling, players disconnecting and HON SA players mentality.

I played one game of DOTA over the weekend. It took some time to get used to but fun (more LOL than HON)...although one of our guys left right at the start (which sucked).

For my first game I had the 2nd highest kill count which I'm very proud of ;) we lost although it was a close game.

I have noticed the more I play the better my games are getting in terms of team-mates and opponents. So it does seem the matchmaking system is working to some extent.

I must say, I'm really enjoying this game (again) especially with the added perks of reconnecting and improved graphics.

And it turns out I'm not bad at DotA (did have a few bad games but all in all I usually ended with a + kd ratio). I used to play HoN (OhGodWhy.jpg) and I was bad. And the HoN community (especially in SA) was a real special bunch...

Now... They just need to bring in Meepo and I'm all set. :)
